The Workout Revolution is the San Fernando Valley's premier slow-motion high-intensity strength training facility. This type of strength training, commonly referred to as SuperSlow®, Power of 10®, or Slow Burn®, is one of the safest, most effective, time efficient forms of exercise.
Exercise to the intensity of muscle failure (the point at which you can no longer move the weight) will thoroughly exhaust your muscle and create a stimulus to which your body must adapt. Your workouts are customized specifically for you and include nutrition suggestions (if requested) and post-exercise rest and recovery recommendations.
All sessions are semi-private and one-on-one with one of our certified instructors. Whether you are busy, a professional athlete, a beginner to exercise, dealing with a condition like osteoporosis, osteopenia, arthritis, chronic back pain, or recovering from an injury, our science-backed method will help you build muscle, increase bone density, and enhance cardiovascular fitness while staying injury free.
Safety
By lifting weights slowly, you reduce the opportunity for injury. Injuries in the gym occur when momentum (or speed) is involved and our workout reduces momentum to keep you safe. Your instructor is also always watching your form to make sure that you are doing every exercise properly and getting the most out of your muscle with every movement.
Effectiveness
Without momentum, your muscle has to do all of the work during your slow strength training workout. This makes each exercise more effective because your muscles are more deeply worked.
Efficiency
Using slower speeds, muscle fatigue (which is the goal of strength training) is reached in a shorter amount of time. This means less wear and tear on your joints and less wasted time in the gym. You can get hours of time back each week to do the things you love.
